WHO WE ARE
Partnering to build a world where all children are educationally resourceful
Literacy Helping Hands is a Non-Government Organization (NGO). An initiative by a 21 year old student named Akshay Kumar Ch. Literacy Helping Hands was started with a group of just 7 students. They soon came into realization that ambiance and vicinity of the school area plays a major role in students’ life.
The first and foremost purpose of Literacy Helping Hands is to improve the literacy rates of the states of the nation, while developing meaningful relationships with the needy and helping them for education in any financial situation.
We facilitate non-stop learning spaces
Literacy helping Hands is striving to see the Literacy Rate move up. Every soul in the organization is working hard for the same.
Our Non-Profit Organization provides a dynamic work environment where deadlines are met and goals are not only met, but they are exceeded. We work on many exciting initiatives to improve the literacy among all the students, and are very proud of the work we do. Help us help the poor and downtrodden.
Each new member would be expected to be as independent as possible in reaching out to the public. We will provide all the back-end resources necessary to grow the organisation.
— Our Mission
Let’s grow together, let’s build a great
environment with better education, skills and passion. Let’s make the world a better place to live for the future generation.
— Our Vision
Improve the overall literacy rate of the country to 100%. Create awareness about the importance of education among the underprivileged.
— Our Story
We started the organization with a small team of 7 like-minded college guys 3 years ago. Now we’re a team of more than 500 volunteers. LHH has conducted various events relating to literacy like Digital Literacy Campaign, Soft Skills and Technical Skills Development and facilitating the visually impaired with scribes to write exams. And with a high head we’d like to declare that we’ve reached the place where we didn’t even dream from when we started.
